Wrapping Up May Heading Into June

Warm weather finally!!!!!!!!!!! After what seamed like forever it is starting to feel like summer, which we were able to take advantage of this past week. Over the weekend we were able to Lowes to get items to plant the garden. In addition, we purchased some more flowers for the front yard and a Black & Decker Electric Trimmer (yes finally). The landscapers also came over and dropped 4 yards of rock for the base of the deck. I know I have been promising pictures for quite some time. I am waiting to finish Jessica's birthday present to reveal the full effect.

Speaking of the star of the show, she is growing up so fast. Other then a few mishaps this week the she is using the potty on a regular basis. Yeah no more stinky diapers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course you may have noticed some change to the blog. I added a left-sidebar to the blog. I spent most if not all of Saturday getting it done. In order to do this I took a crash course in CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). Now i didn't go out and learn how to make web pages, it was more like a lot of cutting and pasting and trial & error (more error, LOL). The reason I did this was because I like the look better and plus I was wasting a third of the screen.

How many of you looked into Podcasting? Well I am working on the sites first podcast. I am having fun with it plus it is easier to post a podcast then type this entire post out.

Finally, I would like to leave you with this bit of irony. The RIAA has tried for years to go after users and developers of peer to peer sites. Now comes Yahoo with Yahoo Music. For $4.99 a month you can download straight to your computer unlimited songs. You can take these tunes and put them on just about any MP3 players however you can't burn them to a CD (ya, like that won't get cracked). By making this deal with Yahoo isn't the RIAA saying all the MP3's in the world are only worth $4.99 a month.
