Hmm..........

Well from what I can tell (from the lack of emails) is either you all are RSS reading or you all just didn't get what I was talking about.

Anyway, last weekend we went to the Boise Train Depot as part of their anniversary celebration. Model Trains, train rides and exhibits, well great fun for Jessica. Pictures will be up on the mobblog.

Also this weekend my good friend Jamey was up for a softball tournament. I watched him hit a homerun in one game only to see his team lose the game, due to home run robbing catch by the other team. His team finished 5th overall. Nice Job Jamey nice seeing you buddy.

This week was exciting at work. I received my training for my new job. Now how can you say that is exciting, well 2 days of not talking to 100+ people sure is exciting to me. Anyway, I start my new job Monday April 25th. My schedule in case you didn't know will run from 11am-8pm M-F.

Jessica was going to come down for the weekend with Uncle Shilo, but she has gotten a flu bug and won't be going anywhere but to bed.

As you have noticed I have been posting news items I have found by using the RSS reader. One site digg has many different tech related news stories. The nice thing is I can post the story directly to the blog from the site. Those will be popping up more and more. I also will include other stories but they will be linked by the Title rather then in the read on link of the digg. As of right now I have RSS for KTVB News Channel 7, The Smoking Gun, Leoville, Kevinrose.com, digg, and CNet News.

Also the back yard is coming in grand. The sod is rooting in perfect and i may be able to cut the grass this weekend (if it is nice). I will have pictures of that up on the mobblog

Finally, I am heading back to Cableone for Internet. No big deal other then 29.95 a month for service for a year. After six months of price increases and lies Qwest and MSN will forever be dropped to the bottom of the barrel. So you can start sending everything to my Gmail accounts if you haven't already done so.

You can download it by clicking on the link FreeReader 2.7 Download and just install it. The Screenshot will follow.

At the bottom of the screen to the right is the XML feed
. The address bar that comes up is the one you want to put into the reader.

Having fun with Blogger!!!

Ok first things first. I have added an audio blog to the page. I simply call a number enter a message and bingo it is posted and everyone can listen. I have posted one so far click and listen.

I have added a tagboard. It is under the heading to right under Tagboard no less. The explanation for this is in the tagboard.

Finally I wanted you all to notice you can add our blog to via RSS (more on that in a moment) to your My Yahoo



Now what is RSS? RSS is a format for syndicating news and the content of news-like sites, including major news sites like Wired, news-oriented community sites like Slashdot, and personal weblogs. The latter being what this site is. There are many different ways to get RSS feeds, and of course there are many different RSS. I personally use My Yahoo and add RSS feeds through it. I also use Mozilla's Thunderbird Email application to get RSS feeds.

So to get RSS you just need a reader. I have mentioned Mozilla Thunderbird and My Yahoo as ways to view RSS. In addition, a reader from FeedDemon (free for 20 days) or most if not all major internet providers such as MSN, AOL, and Earthlink should provide them. Of course doing a search (yes you can search just from this page) for a free reader is always another way.

My First Audio Post

April Fools

Well this week started out nice. I was down in Pocatello to pick up Jessica. I was able to re tool my Parents computer with Windows XP. I am sure they are having fun. Jessica enjoyed her time down in Pocatello, OK!!!! LOL. Also "What you doing? Nuttin" is pretty funny thanks.

We got the sod put in this past week and it is taking real nice. I will have pictures up shortly. We are waiting on the gravel to come in then I will video the area and put it up on the page.

I moved upstairs for my new job. In case you didn't know i will be taking calls from what they call the Premier Que. This job will entail me speaking with a different sort of people. My hope is to cut down on stress, while at the same time make more incentive. Besides an increase in pay i have a nice Flat Screen LCD monitor, VERY COOL. Wish me luck!!

Many of you will begin to start receiving invites to Steph’s graduation. If you can't make it, don't worry, she will understand.

Oh, by the way baseball started Giants 4-2 in first place after week one!!!!!!!!!!! I bought a new Giants hat to start the season.

I had talked about he Windows Blinds in my most recent post. I liked the program but it interfered with other programs such as Yahoo Messenger. I didn't want to risk it doing the same with others. So I am not recommending it, though very cool. I will keep a search for other cool desktop items.

A new site YaGoohoo!gle compares your search between Google and Yahoo. It is very interesting what each search engine comes up with. Check it out and tell me what you think. It is very interesting what comes up when you just type in "raysinboisewebblog.blogspot.com", both Yahoo and Google come up with completely different results.
