May Almost Over

Greetings all. Well I got out to see Star Wars III: The Revenge of the Sith. Pretty tragic ending and many limbs cut off in this one. Most will say the prequels will never live up to the earlier films and they are right. However, with that said I certainly enjoyed the first these movies, what makes the other movies better is simple; Luke, Leia, Han, Chewy and Darth. If your asking whether to see the final episode, I say yes.

Onto everything else. Well I have been working on getting the home video switched to DVD. It take nearly 36 hours to get it all onto one DVD. I have pushed back converting everything to streaming video in order to clear some hardrive space. I have nearly 55 gigs devoted to about 5 hrs of footage. Needless to say space is at a premium.

Before going further I just want to mention from time to time I will start talking about some computer related material. Most everything I talk about will have link point to the defininition of the item. Please email me if you would like to learn more or leave a comment.

I also have been looking into this Bit-Torrents and Podcasts. The guys from the old TechTV have been putting content out on the web. By the looks of things Television may become the thing of the past. Before the new episodes of BattleStar Galactica debuted on to the Sci-Fi network this past winter it was first distributed via the internet thought Bit-Torrent. As far as I can tell copyright rules still apply, however those that purposely put items on via Bit-Torrent do so for its ease. For example the guys at SYSTM used Bit-Torrent to distribute there first episode. Speaking of SYSTM, though the first episode was a bit too much on the tech side they did prove the Security cameras really aren't that secure.

Well the yard is definitely growing in nice, our mole or gopher depending on who you talk to is moving back from which he/she came. They finished smoothing out the park for the forthcoming sod or hydro seed. The houses on our side of the canal are all but done and we had another couple move in down the street this past week. Hopefully the neighbors to the left will put in a fence, LOL.

On the job front things are going well, I was able to apply for another role within the company which is more of a managerial job. Wish me luck!!!!!!!!!

Well off to bed

Graduation/Birthday Party

The time is set for 1:30 pm Sat May 14th at our house.

To get there, simply take Meridian Road South into Kuna. As the road curves around taking you into Kuna Turn Right on Kay St. The Mexican Resturant and Famers Merchant Bank lie to the left and right. Head North on Kay until you get to the 4 way stop. Turn Right onto 4th Ct/St. We are the White house at the end of the Road.

Sorry for the lack of pictures. I have been getting the house ready for all the guests. Plus that backyard is quite big. Anyway hope to see all you there.

May Is here already!!

Well this is going to be an exciting Month. My good friend Joe Rex is getting married on May the 7th. Well that just about makes everyone from the old Little Caesars days. Congrats Joe you got yourself a good woman.

Of course May 8th is Mothers Day, so Happy Mothers Day to all I will be sending all the mothers in my life some E-Roses.

May 14th is Stephanies Birthday and Graduation ceremony are on the same day. A get together out our house after the Graduation Ceremony, I will post details in a few or you can just give us a call.

Well on the home front we have finally got the irrigation water on and are watering the sod pretty to heavy to get is rooted in. Hopefully some more showers will be coming along this month to help out. Jessica is loving the back yard and is outside constantly. Donations for fencing would be helpful, LOL.

As you all may know I started my job last week and things couldn't be better. My supervisor has been great and the customers are so much easier to service. The only draw back is that the schedule from 11am to 8pm is not so good, but I have a request to get it changed.

Not much other news other then our move back to Cableone for our Internet. Not sure why we ever left. Qwest kept on upping rates and changing this and that. This move will not effect email since I have stayed with my Gmail accounts exclusively. So please no more email to my old MSN account. Starting today is will no longer exist.
